Korean Cultural Centre Director’s Cup Taekwondo Championship held in Delhi

The first ever Korean Cultural Centre Director’s Cup Taekwondo Championship was recently held at Indira Gandhi stadium, Delhi. The event saw the participation of 570 players from pan India. With an aim of boosting the popularity of Taekwondo in India, Korean Cultural Centre India, Embassy of the Republic of Korea in collaboration with Sports Authority of India (SAI) and Indo Taekwondo Promotion Foundation organised the championship. The winners of this championship will participate in 2nd All India Inter SAI-Korean Ambassador’s Cup Taekwondo Championship 2019 and will also undergo massive training in Nainital and South Korea. This will provide them with the opportunity to learn new techniques, train themselves best for upcoming events including the 2020 Olympic Games.



The winners of this championship will participate in 2nd All India Inter SAI-Korean Ambassador’s Cup Taekwondo Championship 2019.
