Odisha Youth In 17-Member Indian Team For World Taekwondo Championship
Sonepur: Odisha’s Ehsaas Hota has been selected as the first and the only player from Odisha in the 17-member Indian team to take part in the World Taekwondo Chamspionship President’s Cup beginning on February 28 in Iran. He will also take part in the 30th Fajr Open Taekwondo Championship in Iran. Players from as many as 46 countries will compete in the elite martial art championships of World Taekwondo Federation (WTF). While the President’s Cup will kick off on February 28 and end on March 3 at Olympic Sports Square in the Iranian island of Kish, 30th Fajr Open will be organised on March 4 and 5. Earlier in May 2018, Ehsaas had won two gold medals at 2nd Kathmandu International Taekwondo Championship in Nepal. Not only this, Ehsas brought laurels for Odisha by wining gold medals at several national Taekwondo championships on nine different occasions.
